Mercedes Jordan
Veterinarian
Dr. Mercedes Jordan grew up in a small town in Eastern, KY riding horses and working on her family’s small farm. She attended Morehead State University in Morehead, KY to complete her Bachelor of Science degree. While at Morehead State University, Dr. Sadie spent time working with production beef cattle operations. Dr. Sadie completed her doctor of veterinary medicine at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. During school, Dr. Sadie met her husband, an Opelika native. She fell in love with the state of Alabama and surrounding communities. Since graduating Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Sadie has established interests in equine reproduction, small animal reproduction, small animal surgery, small animal wellness and dermatology, and cervid medicine. Dr. Sadie and her husband are avid fishermen, but during her free time Dr. Sadie likes reading fiction novels and spending time with her four dogs, cat, and ferret. Dr. Sadie is also a dedicated Auburn basketball and football fan. War Eagle!
